How does the process work for a project?
We first start by meeting with you to determine your needs and to go through our proposal process. The proposal process allows us to provide a detailed proposal to you outlining costs and estimated time to complete your project. Once you sign to begin work, we will then create a prototype site. When you're satisfied with the prototype we'll complete the project and roll it out. We'll then discuss with you any additional needs you may have such as maintenance, search engine submission, and promotion. You may also elect for us to train you on how to maintain your site yourself. Our policy is to stay with our clients long after a project is complete to ensure complete satisfaction.
Do you offer maintenance agreements?
Yes we do. In most cases a maintenance agreement can be as simple as a flat monthly fee that offers constant updates, changes, and revisions to your Web site. We also offer on-site training (where applicable) to teach you or your staff how to update your site. Our maintenance plan allows you to have a virtual webmaster on staff at a fraction of the cost you'd pay to have a full-time staff member in your agency.
How long does it take to design a Web site?
As with any project, it really depends on the size of the project and the amount of coding required. Generally, most sites take about a month to complete. Other projects that require flash, multimedia, animation, or sound/music may take considerably longer. Your project profile kit will have an estimated start and completion date. We make every effort to stay on target for your delivery date.
How can I monitor the progress of my new Web site?
Communication is key in our line of business. You will be able to monitor the progress of the development of your project at any time on the staging area of our Web site. You'll be given access to our staging service the moment we begin work. This allows you to monitor progress at any time. We also set milestones throughout the design process and have you sign off on development stages to make sure we're on target for your project.
Do I have to sign a contract?
As a protective measure for both parties we require a written contract. The contract simply outlines the deliverables of the project, estimated hours and costs, estimated completion date, and any other requirements the project may have. This ensures that we have clearly defined what will and will not be done on the project to meet specifications.
How can I pay for the project?
Normally, we require that 50% of the estimated costs be paid in advance to begin the project as a measure of good faith. Payments can be made by check or money order. The final amount is due prior to taking your web project or media project live. Your contract and proposal will outline the requirements of payment in more detail. We offer payment arrangements to meet your budget requirements under special circumstances.
What about hosting?Does animalp ants design studio provide hosting?
We keep overhead down by not having to worry about keeping web servers up and running 24 hours a day. Why do that when there are so many great companies out there that specialize in hosting? We have partnered with several reputable hosting firms and are able to take the guesswork out of hosting and domain name registration for our clients. Hosting plans are scalable, affordable, and offer you complete control over your Web site. We don't take your site "hostage". With our hosting plans you own the site as well as the hosting, so you have complete freedom over your site.
Does animalpants offer graphic design services?
Now you're talking!. We feel that the way a site looks is as important as the content and functionality of a site. Let's face it - looks on a Web site sell and add market value. We have high levels of experience with Adobe Photoshop and other popular graphics tools, and we design original artwork that will make your site unique. We don't believe in creating cookie-cutter Web sites for our customers who demand custom designs. If you wanted a cookie cutter Web site would you really be reading this far into our site anyway?
We also offer a full suite of logo design services. Your companies visual image is the most important marketing asset your have. We can design your logo then create a web presence that compliments the design.
Do you design all types of Web sites?
We will gladly work with any reputable company to design a web presence or media project. However, we do not work with any organization that promotes pornography, hate crime, or any politically controversial subjects. We also will not work with any organization that promotes cult-based religious activity.
